  Samir Arora founded lifestyle hub Glam Media to create a better way for brand advertisers to connect with their audiences on the Web. A tech-industry veteran, Arora was previously the chairman of Emode/Tickle, Inc, which was later sold to Monster in June 2004. Prior to that, Arora was chairman and CEO of NetObjects, Inc. where he drove the creation of the first web site building product NetObjects Fusion. Arora also currently serves as chairman of Information Capital LLC, a venture-capital fund based in Woodside, Calif., that invests in leading-edge "big idea companies" in consumer publishing, media, and technology
 
Adam Bain   Adam Bain - President, Fox Audience Network
 
  Adam Bain, President of the Fox Audience Network, oversees a division dedicated to monetization of Fox Interactive Media's web properties like MySpace and on third party publishers leveraging the company's industry-leading Hyper Targeting, Ad Optimization, Performance-based Advertising and Self-Serve ad platforms. Adam was Fox Interactive Media's original CTO, and helped spearhead acquisitions of MySpace, IGN, Photobucket, and Scout. Adam also oversaw FIM's 2007 acquisition of Strategic Data Corporation (SDC) - a data and yield optimization firm. Bain began his career with News Corp. running the technology and product divisions at FOXSports.com. Previously, he was in the online news industry at latimes.com and Cleveland.com, and developed the first digital museum for the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. He is a member of the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences, and helped establish the guidelines for the first Emmy award in Outstanding Achievement in Interactive Television Programming and Platforms.

  Gina Bianchini is CEO and Co-Founder of Palo Alto-based Ning, a service that enables anyone to create a personal social network around any theme or purpose. Prior to co-founding Ning (with Netscape co-founder Marc Andreessen) in 2004, she was co-founder and president of Harmonic Communications, which was acquired by the Japanese advertising agency Dentsu. She has also held positions at CKS Group and Goldman, Sachs & Co. Bianchini holds a bachelor's degree from Stanford University and an M.B.A from the Stanford Graduate School of Business.

  Matt Cohler has extensive experience working with great entrepreneurs to build lasting consumer Internet companies, having served in senior management roles at Facebook and LinkedIn. Most recently, he served as vice president of product management at Facebook, overseeing the company's product development organizations. Matt joined Facebook in early 2005 as one of the first five employees hired by the company's founders and its first external executive hire, and he's been credited with helping drive Facebook's strategy, organizational growth and product direction. Previously, Matt served as vice president and general manager at LinkedIn, where he was a member of the company's founding team. Before LinkedIn, he was a consultant in McKinsey & Company's Silicon Valley office and worked in Beijing for AsiaInfo, the telecom solutions provider that built China's Internet infrastructure, prior to the company's initial public offering. His current affiliations include special advisor at Facebook, Board of Governors at the San Francisco Symphony and Board of Directors at Do Something. Matt received his B.A. with honors and distinction from Yale University.

From 2003-2006, Auren served as Chairman of Stonebrick Group and Chairman of the Connector Group (Silicon Valley 100).   Marissa leads the company's product management efforts on search products - web search, images, news, books, products, maps, Google Earth, the Google Toolbar, Google Desktop, Google Health, Google Labs, and more. She joined Google in 1999 as Google's first female engineer and led the user interface and web server teams at that time. Her efforts have included designing and developing Google's search interface, internationalizing the site to more than 100 languages, defining Google News, Gmail, and Orkut, and launching more than 100 features and products on Google.com. Several patents have been filed on her work in artificial intelligence and interface design. In her spare time, Marissa also organizes Google Movies - outings a few times a year to see the latest blockbusters - for 6,000+ people (employees plus family and friends). Concurrently with her full-time work at Google, Marissa has taught introductory computer programming classes at Stanford to more than 3,000 students. Stanford has recognized her with the Centennial Teaching Award and the Forsythe Award for her outstanding contribution to undergraduate education. Prior to joining Google, Marissa worked at the UBS research lab (Ubilab) in Zurich, Switzerland, and at SRI International in Menlo Park, California. Marissa has been featured in various publications, including Newsweek ("10 Tech Leaders of the Future"), Red Herring ("15 Women to Watch"), Business 2.0 ("Silicon Valley Dream Team"), BusinessWeek, Fortune, and Fast Company.   Bassel Ojjeh joined Yahoo, Inc. in June 2004 as a Vice President of the Strategic Data Solutions group. Prior to Yahoo, Inc., Bassel co-founded and served as Chief Operating Officer of DMX Group and digiMine, Inc. (now Revenue Science, Inc.). Both companies delivered Business Intelligence and Data Mining products and services to fortune 100 companies including American Express, Daimler-Chrysler, Ford Motors, Microsoft Corp, Dow Jones, AT&T Wireless and T-Mobile. Bassel served as Group Program Manager in the Internet Business Server division at Microsoft Corporation. He was responsible for all eCommerce related components in Microsoft's Commerce Server Product, including Data Warehousing, Analysis, Data Mining, Advertising Server, Analysis, Personalization, User Management and Direct Marketing. His work on Version 3.0 of Site Server Commerce included advertising server and a prediction capability based on data mining technology. Bassel joined Microsoft in 1992 and worked on several Microsoft products and large scale systems including MSN Advertising Server and the first scalable web data warehousing/decision support systems for Microsoft Internet properties (MSN, MSNBC, Expedia and CarPoint). While at Microsoft, he also designed and built Budgeting and Decision Support systems and was involved in a number of acquisitions including Fox Software, SoftImage, Interse Corporation and Firefly. Prior to Microsoft, Bassel was one of the original developers at Fox Software, Inc., An RDBMS software maker. There he worked on such products as FoxBase, FoxBase+, FoxBase+/Mac and FoxPro. After spending four years in the development group, he moved on to establish the Fox Software IT organization and ran the entire business systems of Fox Software on the FoxPro product. He also was responsible for the IT infrastructure in all twenty locations in six countries where Fox Software operated. Microsoft acquired Fox Software, Inc. in 1992 for $1.5 Billion.

  Joe Paulsen is the senior vice president and general manager of Experian's Integrated Marketing Services (IMS) business. Joe's responsibilities include leading the strategic direction of IMS by leveraging Experian's vast data resources which provide marketers with a better understanding of their best customers, the ability to find new prospects, forecast new locations and markets, and measure marketing value. Prior to joining Experian, Joe was the general manager of Fair Isaac's Marketing Services Business and had full P&L responsibility for their multi-channel marketing database business. While there, he improved operating performance, increased revenue by 15 percent and grew margins by 200 percent in a short period of time. He also served as director of operations for Consulting Services and was a member of FICO's executive committee. Prior to running Fair Isaac's Marketing Services business, Joe held various executive positions and was a consulting partner at PriceWaterhouseCoopers. Joe received his bachelor's of science degree in Industrial Engineering from Iowa State University and his master's of science in business administration from the University of Chicago.

After leaving PayPal, Keith was Entrepreneur-in-Residence at Clarium Capital Management, the global hedge fund lead by PayPal co-founder Peter Thiel. Keith currently serves on the Board of Directors of Yelp, Vendio, Xoom and FanIQ. He is also an early investor in YouTube and several other high profile early stage start-ups.   David Selinger first garnered international recognition as an expert in the field of eCommerce data analytics and personalization with his groundbreaking work leading the research and development arm of Amazon's Data Mining and Personalization team. In that role, David increased Amazon's annual profit by over $50 million (25% of US profit, 2003) setting the industry standard for recommendation services. David has decades of experience, from developing the first Javascript-powered ad delivery system for Flycast - the same technology used by Google AdSense, DoubleClick and Overture - to leading Overstock's personalization efforts as Vice President of Software Development and Data Mining. David also cofounded Redfin, a venture backed, industry-leading real estate search/brokerage company. David holds a broad collection of awards and standing patents in customer segmentation, analytics and data mining, including over a dozen pioneered at richrelevance. David's accolades also include the coveted PC Magazine Editor's Choice Award (won for 2Roam Wireless, acquired by Air2Web). David received his BS in Computer Science from Stanford University.

  As a serial Internet entrepreneur, Jeffrey founded MyLife and is the company's CEO and Chairman. He is responsible for the company's overall direction and strategies toward building the Internet's single source for finding people and staying connected on the Web. Jeffrey founded the company in 2002, originally under the name Reunion.com after meeting his wife at his 10-year high school reunion. Through his direction, the company has consistently grown since inception to become one of the most visited properties on the Internet, with a membership of more than 50 million members. The company has received many accolades, and Jeffrey himself was recognized as an E&Y Entrepreneur of the Year Semi-Finalist in 2008. Previously, Jeffrey was a founder and CEO of GreatDomains.com, the world's leading secondary domain name marketplace. He was instrumental in helping turn an unproven business concept into a profitable company. As the market leader, GreatDomains.com was responsible for facilitating some of the largest domain-name sales in the industry through its service and platform, including Loans.com for $3 million. At the end of the year 2000, the company was acquired by publicly-traded VeriSign, the Internet's leading domain name registry, for a reported $100 million. Jeffrey is also involved in a number of private Internet companies as an investor and advisor.

  Greg Tseng co-founded Tagged in October 2004 and has served as Chief Executive Officer since its inception. He has been a driving force in creating Tagged.com with his partner, co-founder and long-time friend, Johann Schleier-Smith. Previously, Greg co-founded Avivon Inc., which introduced the textbook comparison-shopping agent flyingchickens.com to the Harvard campus during the Fall semester of 1999, and served as COO of Limespot.com LLC, a leading network of 100+ local college portals. Greg holds an A.B. in Chemistry & Physics & Mathematics from Harvard University, where he served as a Director of the Harvard Entrepreneurs Club (HEC) from 1998-2000 and co-authored The Harvard Entrepreneurs Club Guide to Starting Your Own Business (Wiley, 1999). Greg is presently on leave from Stanford University, where he is pursuing the Ph.D. in Physics on a National Defense Science and Engineering Graduate Fellowship.   Duncan Watts is principal research scientist at Yahoo! Research, where he directs the Human Social Dynamics group. He is also professor of sociology at Columbia University, and an external faculty member of the Santa Fe Institute. His research on social networks and collective dynamics has appeared in a wide range of journals, from Nature, Science, and Physical Review Letters to the American Journal of Sociology. He is also the author of Six Degrees: The Science of a Connected Age (W.W. Norton, 2003) and Small Worlds: The Dynamics of Networks between Order and Randomness (Princeton University Press, 1999). He holds a B.Sc. in Physics from the University of New South Wales, and Ph.D. in Theoretical and Applied Mechanics from Cornell University.

  Tim Westergren founded Pandora in January 2000 and now serves as its Chief Strategy Officer. Tim is an award-winning composer, an accomplished musician and a record producer with 20 years of experience in the music industry. He has recorded with independent labels, managed artists, owned a commercial digital recording studio, scored feature films, produced albums, and performed extensively. His main instrument is the piano, but over the years he has played the bassoon, drums and clarinet and his musical background spans such genres as rock, blues, jazz and classical music. Tim received his B.A. from Stanford University, where he studied computer acoustics and recording technology. A musician's musician, he is obsessed with helping talented emerging artists connect with the music fans most likely to appreciate their music. In addition to guiding Pandora's overall strategy and vision, Tim now spends most of his time as Pandora's chief evangelist - traveling the country to meet with listeners to collect feedback, research local music, and spread the word of the Music Genome Project.
